Special Projects Manager - £35,000 - Stratford upon Avon
As a significant land owner, the Heart of England Forest requires a commercially astute individual to increase income streams and maximise the revenue generation potential of the extensive and varied assets that it owns to secure sustainable funds to meet the Charity’s operational costs as it develops and grows. We would love to hear from an experienced project manager, looking for their next challenge, who is committed to conservation and enthusiastic about investing in our environment.
The role will encompass a commercial lead on the delivery of new projects along with effective estate management to protect the charity’s assets. These include holiday cottages, marina facilities, repurposing redundant farm buildings, a non-operational residential and commercial portfolio, as well as our forestry and farming infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a team player able to demonstrate proven commercial acumen and project management expertise within a land management setting, experience of regulatory compliance and with a strong attention to detail.

One of our Global consultancies has multiple opportunity for newly qualified, up to Senior Surveyor, to join the Global Occupier Services team in Birmingham.
​
As part of the wider team you will assist in the management of a large, diverse geographical portfolio for large private and/or public sector clients. The role(s) will see the individual(s) provide Occupier clients with full Property Management Services, collaborate with other skill lines across the Client Group and deliver a best-in-class service to clients.
​
You will need to be RICS (or working towards your APC) with Property Management experience. The role is varied and includes tasks such as:
• Ensure cost effective operational running of client portfolio/region.
• Liaison with clients and 3rd parties i.e. landlords and their agents to ensure uninterrupted use of the client’s premises, effectively acting as the intermediary between landlord and tenant
• Identify and drive through cost savings for corporate occupiers
• Manage exit strategies for freehold and leasehold properties being vacated
• Provide reasoned strategic advice to clients on lease events where required
• Ensure adherence to lease terms and compliance with statutory requirements (to include inspections) and advising clients of same
• Manage and liaise with other teams and other professionals to provide a full service to the client
• Delivers innovation by looking for and suggesting new ways to differentiate services
• Identify solutions that reduce costs for clients
• Provide direct and frequent client contact and reporting
• Will stay current in own field and pursue opportunities to demonstrate expertise
• Will actively build relationships and develop strong client relationships
• Will be responsible for supporting and developing talent of colleagues at earlier career level
